There's something that doesn't sit right with me when, on the day Osama Bin Laden resurfaced in a disturbing audio tape, cable television ends up in a game of name calling as a war protester is compared to Osama Bin Laden.

That's reason to be outraged - but even more outrageous is the fact that in a flurry of sound bites what was lost was a real discussion of the fact that more than four years after the devastating attacks of 9/11, more than four years after George Bush boasted we wanted Osama "dead or alive," more than a year after Osama Bin Laden showed his hateful face in yet another video, this barbarian is still very much alive and boasting of additional attacks against the United States.

So to recap, Sen. Kerrry is outraged that Osama sounds too much like a "war protester".  Senator Kerry should know.  [See my previous post on the matter for more on what Osama said and liberals who think that it might be a Bush/Rove conspiracy].

But the biggest outrage according to Senator Kerry is that Osama is still alive.  I suppose Senator Kerry will help us get tough on fighing terrorism by pledging to spy on terrorists.  Oops, wait a minute.  That kind of spying is illegal and part of a Bush power grab. 

Judging by the way Kerry continues his obsessive focus on Osama, one would expect him to call for an immediate troop recall from the war on terror simply because we captured or killed him.

Meanwhile on the news shows, Kerry says:

Yes, we have not been attacked here. Many people surmise that one of the reasons we haven't been attacked here is because they are being so successful at doing what they need to do to attack us in Iraq and elsewhere.

So we have been safer here in the states, because the terrorists are so successful in Iraq and elsewhere.  Well if that's the case then Kerry's and Murtha's calls for a cut-and-run make perfect sense.  Let the rest of the world suffer from terrorists and they will be so successful in our absence that they will never need to attack America.

I guess Sen. Kerry didn't get the memo about the recent successful missle strike against Al-Qadea in Pakistan.  But no matter.  This type of logic freqently eludes the posters at the Daily Kos. Perhaps it has something to do with those tin foil hats?

Thank goodness the Democrats were only able to manufacture enough fraud to steal a few states like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and prevent the Yale D-student from getting a key to the Oval Office.
