Taking advice that he should seek to soften his image in advance of the Samuel Alito confirmation hearings, Ted publishes a children's book. 

 

The real news is that in the book it is revealed that Ted has named his dog, "Splash".

 

Perhaps this is what the esteemed Senator from Massachusets was referring to?:

During the Alito confirmation hearings Ted Kennedy just referred to Samuel Alito as Al-E-oto.   This reminds me of the time Kennedy confused Obama and Osama.
