I saw President and Laura Bush on TV this weekend encouraging viewers to support the troops this holiday season through America Supports You, which is run by the DOD.

I wonder how many liberals who insist they support the troops have contributed.

It seems they might be too busy disrupting funerals, distributing anti-military propoganda, or sending hate mail to soldiers in hospitals.

UPDATE: In my haste I didn't review the "disrupting funerals" links as closely as I should have. I assumed it was similar to other funeral disruptions I had read about, but this one is about a bunch of right-wing nut jobs who think that God is punishing America for allowing homosexuals in the military.

These people turn my stomach even more than the liberals who gleefully compromise our national security. Wearing T-shirts that say "God Hates Fags" and signs that thank for dead soldiers and the 9-11 attacks as God's punishment.

These people aren't Christians. They are a dangerous cult and I find it difficult to restrain my own hate at these "people" so I won't comment on what I might like to see happen to them. I strongly support our Constitutional right to free speech but if there was ever a time to suppress free speech, this is it.

If something like this happened on the other side of the political spectrum they would blame Karl Rove for setting them up. We on the other hand recognize that idiots can exist at any point of the political spectrum and that any religion can be perverted by a group of hateful ignoramuses.

UPDATE 2: Some posters have wondered why the gay community has not protested. Good question, but I think a better one is why haven't Christian's protested?

If I were in the Kansas area I would be sufficiently motivated to organize a group and marching front of this "church" with picket signs. Christians need to publically demonstrate their disapproval of these hateful morons.
